Our Process - > Quality Processes

This international standard specifies requirements for a Quality Management System where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements.We aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Once we create the solution, our SQA team steps in to test it. The solution is rigorously tested for bugs and flaws and then fixed - all following strict timelines. Robustness of a product is achieved by formulating a test plan at project inception that makes sure that intense testing is performed at different project phases by qualified testers - applying appropriate test cases. One of the key responsibilities of the SQA team is to prepare and implement processes that can directly or indirectly induce product quality. These processes assist in project plans, configuration management, project reviews, testing, bug tracking, feedback reviews, and even backups and virus scanning. Our SQA work force is not only responsible for delivering product with least defects but also responsible for evolving ground-breaking processes and strengthening the existing procedures to help us work more productively within strict timelines.

Test Plan

A Test Plan is typical to any Xi technologies project. It documents testing strategy and approach that the Testing team will use to validate the quality of the product prior to its release. It also determines different test milestones that commence at the project kickoff and end at client's feedback of final products. Test Plan follows the test guidelines that circumscribe the objectives of a Test Plan - what is required to be achieved. It also provides guidelines to test different components and what specifications the solution must conform to.

Testing Techniques

We follow different testing techniques, such as White-box, Black-box, and Load/Stress testing. White-Box testing is a technique whereby explicit knowledge of the internal workings of the item being tested is used to select the test data. Black-box testing checks application's functions and features to ensure correct operation. This phase of testing covers all the issues relating to the functionality of a system as per requirements docs. Both manual and automated procedures are used to test the functionality. Load/Stress testing involves testing the software in various environments and situations to examine if it has the capacity to run under various stressful situations. Each type of testing technique is followed diligently to ensure highest degree of quality.

Bugs Tracking

Errors, defects, or bugs found at different test phases are recorded by tester or reviewer in error tracking sheets and communicated back to the developer or designer. The fixes are again tested and the cycle continues until a zero-defect level is achieved.

Project Reviews

An SQA professional is assigned to the project who is responsible for reviewing the project at different stages as it progresses in development. It is his/her responsibility to examine that the project is abiding by the prescribed guidelines, achieves specific results, and meets client needs. Along with this, there are final and interim project reviews by the project manager. Besides these activities, peer reviews are performed between team members or different teams. Finding errors and providing suggestions amongst members is taken in a positive spirit. After the project is finally delivered, a feedback review is completed by the entire team. Experiences during the project, lessons learned, new technologies or methodologies used are discussed and documented for future references.
