Systems Analyst Job Description

The individual performing this analyst role will interact directly with employees in defining business requirements and high-level designs for a variety of software development and data conversion initiatives. The position is full time and will be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The candidate should be willing to travel 10% of the time to work with out-of-state clients.

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will possess the following background and experience:

10+ years experience in information systems

5+ years experience working in the managed healthcare industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to work with minimal supervision, and manage time to meet project milestones

The ability to independently lead meetings and teleconferences where business requirements are discussed and defined Experience creating software development artifacts required under Sarbanes-Oxley legislation

Testers

You'll have excellent exposure to manual, automated and performance testing in the mainframe and client/server environments. In addition, you'll be capable of working independently on small projects, as well as providing leadership to other testing resources on larger projects. Preferably, you'll have a BA or BS degree, extensive exposure to the managed care industry, and 7 to 12 years total IT experience developing and maintaining software applications.

NET Technical/Solutions Architects

You'll have substantial experience in Microsoft Technologies with at least 2 years on the .NET framework and designed systems on .NET or Windows DNA (COM and COM+). You'll also have deep and extensive expertise in 2-tier, 3-tier and n-tier applications, and sound UML knowledge. A BE, B.Tech, MS or an MCA with 7 to 12 years of total IT, you'll be a match.

J2EE Technical/Solutions Architects

You'll have solid experience in designing systems in Java and J2EE, deep and extensive expertise in 2-tier, 3-tier and n-tier applications, and sound UML knowledge. A BE, B.Tech, MS or an MCA with 7 to 12 years of total IT, you'll be a match

You'll have over 8 years software experience, of which 4 years in managing large global clients and establishing strong customer relationships. You'll have taken complete ownership of project delivery and provided technical leadership for large projects. You'll have a good grasp of CMM or six sigma processes and excelled across technologies. And you'll have excellent people management capabilities and communication skills.
